Motiva Film is a Production and Service Production Company based in Istanbul, Turkey, established in 2011. Our primary focus is on creating innovative and high-quality cinema and television productions that showcase local stories and feature a talented production team.
We take pride in our ability to offer line production services for foreign production companies looking to film in Turkey. This service helps facilitate their production process and provides a local perspective on the region's culture and customs.
Our recent accomplishments include "The Four Walls," a critically acclaimed UK-Turkish co-production feature film directed by Bahman Ghobadi and produced by Roger Waters, Bahman Ghobadi, and myself. We have also produced several other films, such as "Swaying Waterlily" and "Mold," both of which were Turkish-German co-productions. "Ich Liebe Dich," a creative documentary produced with ZDF Das Kleine Fernsehspiel, and "Kayıp İnci," "Adam ve Çocuk," and "Resimdeki Sevgili," three TV films produced for Show TV and directed by Özer Kızıltan.
At Motiva Film, we strongly believe that filmmaking is an art form that can unite people and generate meaningful discussions. With this in mind, we are committed to producing films that challenge the status quo and inspire audiences worldwide.
