Killruddery is a unique 17th century garden, a historic house, a farm, a venue, an events centre, and a source of fine foods, but firstly it is a home.
Killruddery is home of the Brabazon family, the Earls of Meath, and has been since 1618. Currently, three generations of the family live in the house, the Earl & Countess of Meath, Lord & Lady Ardee & their three children.
Anthony and Fionnuala Brabazon , Lord & Lady Ardee, now manage the estate and love to share this beautiful, peaceful and restorative place with visitors. The estate's location, on the edge of Dublin where Wicklow begins, makes Killruddery easily accessible. This Accessibility, Anthony and Fionnuala's full programme of events, their weekly Farm Market, beautiful Tea Rooms, estate & garden products and child friendly atmopshere have all contributed to the estate's rise in popularity in recent years.
The House & Gardens are open from May to September 7 days a week, and on weekends in April & October. The Farm Market is open every Saturday from 10am – 4pm all year round with free entry and parking. The house tours, from 1pm to 5pm, start in July and run through to the end of September or by private appointment at any other time. The full events programme is available on www.killruddery.com or call 01 2863405 to request a hard copy. Email events@killruddery.com to enquire about a private or corporate event.
