Pride WA is an organisation that has developed and evolved since 1989. Originating as a lobby group, Pride’s direction has changed slightly, to suit our membership base. Pride WA is now a strong non for profit, community organisation with a board of 10, who facilitate events and work with other community groups and organisations within WA. Pride WA presents an annual festival, Fairday and Pride Parade in October and November as a celebration of the WA LBGTQI+ community. Pride WA Inc. is committed to encouraging the cultural expression and celebrating, championing and supporting the rights and freedoms of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and other same sex attracted people living in Western Australia.
