Bentley, life on the go! Founded in 1987 by Andy Chelminski, the first Bentley store opened its doors in the Avalon Mall in St-John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Servicing a population of 500, 000 people, it was also the city’s first shop specialized in luggage and travel accessories. Met with success, we opened an additional 8 stores in a span of just one year: through the combination of store openings and acquisitions of some great banners (Unic, Xcetera and Voyageur, to name a few) Bentley quickly expanded Canada-wide. Today, Bentley is available from coast to coast, making us the largest retailer of luggage and travel accessories in Canada.
