UCSD's Speech and Debate Program is a competitive program focused on honing public speaking, critical thinking, research, and persuasive skills through participation in tournaments, ranging from presenting prepared speeches to extemporaneous debates on a wide variety of social and political issues. UCSD Speech and Debate takes great pride in creating the next generation of leaders and representing UCSD in debate tournaments across Southern California.
