First Choice Home Care Ltd is a local company based within Norfolk and bordering Suffolk. Our Area Managers, Registered Managers, Care and Support Workers and the two Company Directors are local to the Waveney area. We are passionate about delivering a quality service of an extremely high standard. Our Head Office is based in Harleston and we have branches in Halesworth, Snetterton and Norwich.
First Choice Home Care’s prime objective is to enhance the quality of life for our Service Users. Therefore, our recruitment process is robust and is tailored to recruiting candidates who have the same values as us.
Our Carers spend 4 days on mandatory training which is carried out in-house by our Company Trainer, and then our carers initially shadow with a team of Quality Assurance Officers. Once signed off as competent in all areas, only then is the carer able to carry out care tasks. The carer is assigned a mentor until they complete their Continuous Development Plan (CDP) and, thereafter, are supported on a regular basis throughout their career.
This means that we are able to provide an excellent service to our Service Users who need care due to illness, disability or frailty, in a person-centred way. Our care is of a high quality, professional and is tailored to suit our Service Users’ needs living in their own home.
