A Kenyan Based International Institute with 10 years experience in Consultancy and Program Implementation in various Health and other Social Fields Including: HIV Prevention amongst Youth, Most-At-Risk Populations, Workplaces and Communities, Reproductive Health, Policy Development and Mainstreaming of Programs for Government Institutions, Civil Society Organizations and others in Drugs and Alcohol Abuse, HIV&AIDS and Employee Wellness.
Has worked in Tanzania in the UJANA Project with FHI, conducted training of trainers (TOT) in Tanzania, Uganda and Southern Sudan, conducted Trainings to build facilitation capacity of Life Skills Youth Mentors in Yambio, Tambura and Rumbek Counties in partnership with UNICEF Operation Life-Line Sudan (OLS), facilitated International Conferences including The 1st Conference on Life Skills and Peer Education - in Yambio; Southern Sudan in partnership with UNICEF OLS Education Department and 4 conferences on Peer Education, Sexuality, HIV and AIDS, facilitated training for UNFPA in Puntland, Somalia, and workplace trainings for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
In May 2007 NOPE participated as a finalist at the World Bank's Development Marketplace in Washington, DC with its "Sounds of Life - Mahewa za Life" behaviour change communication concept targeting youth in slum areas which has now been fully developed as a curriculum and is used in several youth programs in Africa.
