“Through a community of volunteers, Mercy provides quality, whole-person healthcare in a Christ-centered environment to our underserved neighbors.” Mercy Health Center provides free healthcare to approximately 3,600 low-income, uninsured residents of Athens-Clarke County and five surrounding counties. Through the work of faithful staff, volunteers and donors, Mercy offers primary care medical appointments, more than 15 different medical specialties, counseling services, prayer, social services, dental services and health education classes.
