The “Association for Sustainable Development” (SVAP) is a public entity composed by 13 Municipalities of North and East Athens. The aims of the Association are, among others, to promote every suitable measure towards sustainable development, improve the quality of life and assure the main social and economical services to the citizens, develop R&D programmes and undertake actions focused on social inclusion of disadvantaged groups including employment and lifelong learning. Some of SVAP’s specific goals are the following: -information of citizens on matters of employment promotion, encouraging equal opportunities, -information and sensitisation of public and -information on matters of cultural interchange at national, European and international level. The “Association for Sustainable Development” has extensive experience in implementing national and transnational projects. It has also a wide network of private and public organisations, SMEs, NGOs for the promotion and dissemination of actions and results.
