EonCoat is the permanent corrosion protection for carbon steel. Our manufacturing facility is located in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. EonCoat represents the culmination of 20 years of research by the US Department of Energy at one of the nation's most prestigious labs, Argonne National Laboratories. The original R&D objective was to create a method of shielding radioactive waste. As a result, the underlying technology received the prestigious R&D 100 award on two occasions.
Tony Collins purchased the EonCoat technology because he looked for a fast-curing cement. Before EonCoat, Tony spent 30 years owning and operating companies in power generation, including nuclear power. After years of additional R&D, excellent corrosion protection properties were discovered. Tony hired Sameer Patel, and together, they made a sprayable cement, and EonCoat Corrosion Protection Coating was born. EonCoat's ceramic barrier coating is a water-based, two-part spray coating that forms a dense, protective ceramic with just a 15-minute cure time. This coating passivates steel and has a barrier protecting the steel from future corrosion threats. This technology is the first of its kind! EonCoat has no VOCs, no HAPs, and no toxins, making it a safe & permanent corrosion protection system. You can find EonCoat on carbon steel assets all over the world.
Distributors are available in countries around the world.
