The Mariposa County Arts Council is dedicated to enriching Mariposa County economically, socially and culturally through the arts. Serving the county at large and working with our local government leaders as well as individuals, regional organizations and businesses, we support cultural policies and produce programs designed to positively increase the visibility of Mariposa. Our work welcomes all local residents and visitors to engage with art experiences and programs that have been developed to facilitated personal interpretations, expression and growth; strengthen social connections and community dialogue; connect rural Mariposa to issues, movements and opportunities beyond its borders; and support the healthy development of individuals by engaging them in the creation and appreciation of art. Our program include: the Mariposa Symphony Orchestra, the Mariposa Theatre Alliance, Music on the Green Summer Concert Series, the Treetop Gallery, and a wide range of arts education and lifespan learning programs.
