In 1997, the Twist brand was introduced to cater to the needs of younger women seeking alternative fashion. Subsequently, in 2004, the Machka brand originated from a successful partnership with renowned designers Ece and Ayşe Ege (Dice Kayek). In 2008, the Ipekyol Group merged with the Italian global textile and garment group Miroglio, forming the Ayaydın-Miroglio Group.
