The Speed School is a small engineering college on the campus of a major metropolitan university – in a sense, the best of both worlds. An undergraduate enrollment of nearly 2,200 students and an average class size of 29 enables Speed faculty to individualize instruction, to challenge students and to ensure their academic success. The University of Louisville serves more than 22,000 students with ample resources and activities for a diverse student body.
With a strong tradition of hands-on learning, the latest technology available, and a generous scholarship program, Speed School offers students a quality education at an affordable price.
The first school in the nation to be accredited at both the undergraduate and graduate levels by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Speed School has been a leader in engineering education for nearly 90 years. Upon completion of the bachelor’s degree, Speed students typically earn a Master of Engineering degree within one year.
