PostModernissimo is the perfect place dedicated to quality cinema, show and visual arts.
It's a new space for socializing, training and participation in the heart of the historic center of Perugia (Umbria, Italy). PostModernissimo is a piece of Europe in the city, designed on international experiences. The project puts the viewer at the center of their own initiative: PostModernissimo is a cultural landscape that through the crowdfunding and participation of those who want the city returns to bring to life, saved one of the most important cultural sights of Perugia and opens it to the future.
The "Donati" hall, with 159 seats, and the "Visconti" hall, with 54 seats, are both equipped with the latest generation of 4K projectors. The "Terza Sala", as the third page of a newspaper, is the space created to give space to research, with retrospectives on the moving image that still have no other place in Perugia.
The structure also an area reserved for art exhibitions and a bistrò-bar, designed for the encounter between the spectators. Soon a small library and a store dedicated to film and merchandising.
Kinderkino is the space that PostModernissimo offers each afternoon to quality films for children (animated films and not) selected among the new releases and unreleased emotions. A space who help the little ones to get big and bigger to remain small.
Cinemà Project, a dimension of the cinematic experience tailored to the needs of infants but especially their parents. Every Saturday morning, a visions dedicated to new parents with very young children. A friendly place to see movies film taking care of them: volume-controlled projecting, seats reserved for children, space dedicated to wheelchairs parking and a toilet with bed sheets sterilized. Through this project the PostModernissimo enters in La Leche League, an international organization that protects and promotes breastfeeding, and becomes a "Baby Pit Stop" point in the service of the city.
