Located just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, HANDCRANKED PRODUCTIONS, LLC is known for visually rich, highly textured mixed-media design that blends diverse techniques such as stop-motion animation, affected live action, miniature sets, digital compositing, and experimental filmmaking. Bryan Papciak & Jeff Sias first worked together at Olive Jar Studios in Boston, directing highly original mixed-media television commercials for clients such as Cartoon Network, Samsung, NBC, 7-11, and others. After Olive Jar's closing in 2001, Bryan & Jeff continued their creative partnership by forming HANDCRANKED PRODUCTIONS, LLC, as well as HANDCRANKED FILM PROJECTS - an ecclectic studio of active artists and filmmakers who balance personal artistic endeavors with commercial production. Clients include Sesame Street, PBS NOVA, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Samsung, HBO, NBC, ESPN, Bravo,  The Sundance Channel, and the Truth Campaign, among others Bryan & Jeff are currently working on their own feature documentary production entitled “American Ruins”, as well as experimental short films, and other art projects.
