Music Columbus (formerly known as Columbus Music Commission) was founded to make Columbus a better place for musicians to make a living, enrich our city with music and to build Columbus into a nationally recognized center for innovation and music.
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was founded through a community movement in Columbus, Ohio. Founded on June 25, 2016.

To nurture a community where people can prosper in the business of music while contributing to Columbus’ overall cultural and economic growth.
Vision:
Columbus is the Midwest Music Capital of America, where musical innovation, collaboration, and artistry flourish.
Our organization is made up of a board of directors, advisors, and supporting organizations that are engaged with the music community in Columbus, Ohio and beyond.
