At Mentor Me we match caring volunteers to children who can benefit from having a mentor- a positive, responsible person to be their friend and believe in them.
Our vision is to provide successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to better schools, brighter futures and stronger communities for all.
When a group of visionary local leaders saw the need to organize and implement a comprehensive mentoring agency in our county, they partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and opened as a branch office in 2002.
In 2008, our agency grew strong enough to become an independent 501(c)3 agency and is now called Mentor Me North Georgia- to better serve the needs of our community. Since 2002, we have served 2100 children, through our community mentoring program and site-based programs, 843 of them in 2016.
