History
IT Evolution started more than 15 years ago, literally, as one person consulting with one client company, to help it assess and support its IT systems.
Over time, IT Evolution further developed its management model, transforming into a management and cooperative sourcing company to service organizations. The company grew into a virtual shared service, reporting mainly to CFOs and CIOs to augment their internal departments. In this role, we have provided assessments, strategy, budgeting, planning, implementation and operational services. Implementing activity-based-costing and budgeting methodologies, with a staff of up to 25 we helped manage labor, products, and services across many organizations.
IT Evolution has successfully introduced its management techniques and programs into companies ranging from as small as 50 users to thousands of users. Our typical cooperative sourcing engagements have averaged five years with each client, including 14 years with our original client, a global Fortune 500 company. Over this 14-year period, IT Evolution has directly overseen the procurement and use of several hundred million dollars in products and services.
