Connecting Point is a public agency dedicated to providing programs and services that support the health and well-being of the people in our community. We do this by helping people connect—to employment, to in-home care, to community services, and to each other. We take a person-centered approach, meaning that our work is driven by the goals and preferences of the people we serve.
Connecting Point serves consumers and providers of the State of California’s In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program in Nevada, Sierra, and Plumas Counties.
In Nevada County, Connecting Point provides employment services for participants of the CalWORKs and Child Support Services programs and operates the 211 program, which connects people to community programs and services through a 24/7 information line and website.
