Operating as a non-profit cultural organization committed to the development and celebration of Lao film, within the regional context of Southeast Asia, striving to create spaces where filmmakers and aspiring filmmakers can share ideas, trends, and techniques. In addition to a festival (last produced in December, 2022) celebrating contemporary film from across Southeast Asia, we present workshops, labs, community film screenings, and annually administer the Lao Filmmakers Fund, the only domestic source of public funding for Lao film projects.
