Purchased in 1986 by Leon Geis it remains the only locally owned Peterbilt dealership in the Kansas City region. Constantly expanding, and under the leadership of Chris Geis, Kansas City Peterbilt, Inc. rebranded in 2024 to Geis Dealer Group. It now has locations in Kansas City, KS, Sedalia, MO, Bethany, MO. and St. Joseph, MO.
