The mission of the Utah Youth Village is to "Heal and elevate lives through proven family solutions." We were founded in 1969 by Lila Bjorklund who believed if we helped one child, we'd help generations to come. The Village provides support services to youth and families facing challenging life circumstances using evidence based solutions to positively influence healthy behaviors. The Village comprises four divisions and a mentoring program and is one of Utah's largest and most respected nonprofits. Our dedicated and well-trained staff provide services to thousands of youth and families each year in treatment foster homes, two therapeutic boarding schools, the in-home Families First program and thousands of families around the world utilizing SmarterParenting.com online resources.
