We commit each day to develop and empower lifelong learners who thrive in diverse communities. District 622 includes all or portions of seven communities within the Twin Cities metropolitan area: North St. Paul, Maplewood, Oakdale, Lake Elmo, Landfall, Pine Springs, and Woodbury.
We operate 11 traditional schools, one 9-12 online school, an early childhood center, a special education transition program, a senior center, a district service center, a transportation center, and a central warehouse.
More than 1,500 employees of the North St. Paul - Maplewood - Oakdale Public Schools work together to provide quality educational programs. Of these, about 800 are teachers, principals, administrators, and other licensed employees. The other 700 employees are in jobs ranging from custodians, nutrition services, bus drivers, clerical, building engineers, education assistants, paraprofessionals, and more! It takes all of us to educate young people and provide quality lifelong learning opportunities.
Our students regularly receive state and national recognition for outstanding achievement. We feel that this is the best school system in Minnesota, and we hope that you find it is also a good place to work.
