Blue Vigil is the U.S. industry leader in tether power systems for drones, including the DJI Inspire, M200/210, and M300. The ground-based tether allows unlimited flight time when connected to a power source. Blue Vigil also produces a portable Autonomous Aerial Light (ALED) for the illumination of nighttime construction work sites. The ALED is a man-portable area lighting system that mounts a high-intensity LED array on a tethered UAV, putting 1.5x more useable light on the ground than the towed light towers commonly used today. Blue Vigil was founded in 2015 in partnership with a Harrisonburg, Virginia Investor Group, and James Madison University.
