The MGB Springboard Studio is a design-thinking and acceleration team within Mass General Brigham. We activate patients and providers to identify and solve for their own challenges to make healthcare more user-friendly. Utilizing human-centered design, healthcare challenges are sourced and solutions are co-developed with end-users, leveraging the intimate knowledge of what matters most to the frontline providers. Our ethos is grounded in 'co-creation,' engaging multidisciplinary experts, such as designers, engineers and business leaders, to work closely with healthcare providers to move their ideas from abstract to impact.
The MGB Springboard Studio was born out of the success of the Consortium for Affordable Medical Technologies (CAMTech), also headquartered at Mass General with partners in India and Uganda, and focused exclusively on health system innovation in low-resource settings. We have taken CAMTech's proven methodology to identify, source and accelerate ideas to impactful solutions and adapted it to fit within the workflow at Mass General Brigham.
