The London Legal Support Trust (LLST) supports legal advice agencies in London and the South East through organising fundraising events, to enable grants to be made where support is most needed. The advice agencies assistance makes a huge difference to people’s lives, reducing debt, poverty and homelessness, as well as combating discrimination and injustice. The events LLST hold include the London Legal Walk, a renowned 10k sponsored walk that in 2023 involved over 16k walkers. Members of the judiciary, barristers, students, advice agencies, and solicitors walking and raising sponsorship to raise over £960,000. LLST also work with the agencies to help them become more sustainable, help cut costs and improve their coordination and partnership working.
