Celtech Corporation is the industry leader in the design and fabrication of Jet and Turboprop Mobile Engine Test Stands which includes electronic systems manufacturing and integration.
We stand ready to work in partnership with our customers to support and continually upgrade our products, creating long-term solutions and lasting customer satisfaction.
Celtech Corporation was founded in 1976 to engage in systems design, manufacture, and integration for domestic and foreign military customers.
As time progressed emphasis on jet and prop-jet engine testing began to dominate activities and the company was awarded a contract in 1988 to deliver 104 engine test stands to the U.S. Air Force.
These test stands consisted of a 2,500 gallon fuel trailer, control cab, and thrust or run-up trailer for organizational level testing of the engine out of the aircraft by the customer.
The company designed and manufactured many of the components including microprocessor-based instrumentation, but acquired the large fabricated items from Space Corporation of Garland, Texas, a 50-year-old supplier to the aerospace industry.
Celtech relocated from Celeste,Texas to Carlsbad, New Mexico, in 1989, and in 1997 acquired the assets and ongoing business of Space Corporation. Along the way we have designed and manufactured complex rocket engine automatic test sets, auto-tuning RF aperture coupled triple coaxial cavities, and software intensive data acquisition systems.
In September 2013, Celtech joined the Atec, Inc. (www.atec.com) corporate family. Our combined team offers 50 engineers, and 120,000 sq. ft. of facilities on 15 acres in Carlsbad, NM and Houston, TX.
