Redeemer Radio was formed in 2002 by lay Catholics answering the call of Pope John Paul II to use modern media to spread the Catholic faith. In December 2005 Redeemer Radio purchased WLYV AM 1450 - bringing full-time Catholic radio to the Fort Wayne and surrounding area. In late 2014 started airing on WRDI 95.7 in the greater Michiana area. Redeemer Radio broadcasts Local programs along with programs from EWTN and Ave Maria Radio.
