As former snus users with a deep-seated desire for a healthier alternative, we scoured the market in search of a satisfying, tobacco-free nicotine pouch that met our standards, only to come up empty-handed. Fuelled by this frustration, we made a bold choice: we took matters into our own hands. At our new factory in Jakobstad, Finland, we proudly draw inspiration from the rich history of the legendary Strengbergs tobacco factory. Founded in Jakobstad in 1762, it became one of Finland's largest and most successful tobacco companies, venturing abroad with a pioneering spirit, opening a subsidiary in Härnösand, Sweden, in 1903. Strengberg's innovative approach, including the early adoption of modern production methods, made it a major player in the cigarette industry and one of the largest factories in Europe. Just as Strengbergs challenged industry norms, we at Habit Factory have a similar drive. We are the opposite of ordinary, always seeking to challenge conventions, predictability, and established rules. Our journey began with the frustration of former snus users looking for healthier alternatives. This led us to create our own great-tasting nicotine pouches, free from tobacco, and craft our first brand, KLINT, with the utmost passion in our state-of-the-art factory in Sweden. Today, we proudly continue this tradition of innovation with our latest addition, Strengbergs, alongside our established brands Klint, FIX, and Noto.
