Welcome to Bali Island School! Bali International School opened in September 1985 and was renamed in accordance with the Ministerial Decree on Education in 2014. BIS is the oldest and most prestigious international school in Bali. It is the only school on the island authorized to offer the full IB Programme continuum from Preschool to Grade 12: Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. BIS has approximately 300 students and offers small classes and a broad range of course options to meet students’ needs and interests.
