Our Journey began post independence with C & F operations at Porbandar, Gujarat, in 1950. The pioneers of the company realized early on the crucial role of a C & F agent in industries that were time dependent and had a significant impact largely on the development of foreign trade. We understood our role very well, and realized that we enable the importers and exporters to drive their value chain by facilitating various Port Services, Agency Work, Customs Clearance, etc., using our strong local knowledge, experience and goodwill. Velji P. & Sons was founded on the belief that large operations can be enabled and executed with high efficiency if we focused on the small and apparently insignificant tasks. It is this belief that has built strong relationships with our clients over a time. Since 1950, we have been building relationships with our Clients and liaising with Customs Offices. What began as a single operation unit in Porbandar matured into providing all logistics related services. We extended our geographic reach from a small town on the West Coast to various Major Ports in Gujarat and Mumbai. Today we have expert Knowledge about the industry, passed on from one generation to another. As a result, we have handled some of the biggest projects in the Petrochemicals and Telecommunications’ Industry in India.
