Safespill offers an environmentally safe, chemical-free fire protection system for ignitable liquid spills in aircraft hangars. Our mission is to transition the world to environmentally safe fire protection. Safespill's technology allows liquids to be safely removed and pumped right back into containment. The system, a hollow aluminum floor with integrated liquid detection sensors, contains the spill beneath its surface and automatically pumps the liquid into designated containment. The floor is able to hold the weight of any kind of industrial equipment, such as tank trucks, forklifts, and aircrafts. Current applications include environmentally safe Safespill floors for aircraft hangars. In addition to preventing catastrophic fires, our system allows for an increase in workers’ safety and a decrease in operational downtime.
