NewsChannel 9 signed on the air from its transmitter building on Signal Mountain in 1958. The transmitter remains on the mountain, but Their offices and studios moved to downtown Chattanooga in 1966. They're proud to have broadcast Four Decades of quality television. Of course that kind of quality isn't possible without quality people.
