At Radford Care Group day centre we offer a purpose built centre that offers day time friendship and support for independent individuals (usually over 50). Specialist support is provided for those in the community that need some extra care and for their loved ones who may benefit from some time to themselves. We and are open 5 days per week Monday to Friday 9.00am until 4.00pm and offer door to door transport (depending on your area), activities such as arts and crafts, speakers, entertainment trips out and various forms of exercise for the mind and body. Services also include refreshments throughout the day, a 2 course hot lunch, our own hairdressers on site, facilities for visits from GP's, Nurses, Aromatherapy massage, we also have bathing facilities (aided if requested). Carers can also be supported through our carers group meetings and our information sessions for carers of people with dementia which are available throughout the year. All staff are DBS checked.
