Architecture Counsel (ACI) is a full-service architectural practice founded in 2011 in Toronto. Since our inception, it has been our mission to create spaces and buildings with social purpose, that serve their surrounding community, respond sensitively to their clients’ ideals, aspirations, and needs, that are respectful of the environment, and provide the sense of belonging that is intrinsic to the human experience.
Initially, Architecture Counsel focused primarily on higher education. The firm now undertakes a wide range of projects of varying sizes and scales in affordable housing, health and wellness, hospitality, senior living, libraries, as well as independent, and public schools. Our scope of services encompasses new construction, repurposing and renovations, planning, functional space programming, feasibility studies, consultations, and interior design.
We strive to create architecture that is life-affirming, promotes well-being, stimulates the senses, and evokes positive emotions. With each project commission, we push the boundaries of design and architecture seeking new and creative ways to tell your story. Regardless of building type or size, we design on a human scale, creating environments that endow the user with a feeling of comfort, dignity, and sense of belonging.
