This is the official Andrew Young School of Policy Studies page. Founded in 1996, Policy at Georgia State University has strengthened communities in Georgia and around the world through research, scholarship, public engagement, and the development of leaders.
Located in Downtown Atlanta, situated amidst a significant cluster of government agencies, the Andrew Young School enrolls more than 2,200 students each semester in sought-after evidence-based degree programs such as public economics, urban studies, public management and policy, criminal justice and criminology, and social work.
GSU Policy Studies introduces students to the relationship between policy and leadership, providing the skills and knowledge needed to address institutional challenges facing communities, government, and nonprofit agencies.
