We stand up for disadvantaged people - for a fairer world and overcoming hunger and poverty. The Swiss Catholic Lenten Fund (Fastenopfer) is a Swiss Catholic aid agency. Fastenopfer works with partner organisations in 14 poor countries to address poverty, sustainable development, justice and more specifically, gender equality, right to food, climate justice and corporate responsibility. It also conducts outreach efforts and advocacy in Switzerland and at international level addressing root causes of poverty and injustice. Fastenopfer works for a greater societal and economic transformation. It is member of several Swiss and international networks like Alliance Sud, CIDSE and many others.
