Lakeshore Legal Aid (LLA) is a not-for-profit law firm providing a range of free civil legal services to low-income people, seniors, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout southeast Michigan.
To speak with an attorney, please call the toll-free Counsel & Advocacy Law Line (CALL) at (888) 783-8190. Attorneys perform intake to confirm eligibility of client and then provide advice and brief legal services. Most individuals receiving public assistance qualify for services. Cases requiring litigation are referred to a specific Lakeshore office to determine availability of resources for further services. CALL is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m and Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
