Jump was established in 2008 by Kate Ford and Joss Armitage, who between them have over 40 years’ PR and journalist experience within the media and entertainment industry. At the beginning of 2012, Victoria Orford who had 15 years of marketing strategy experience heading up the marketing department of a well-known manufacturing and software company joined the team as Marketing and Creative Strategist, further extending the company's marketing skillset. Four years later Alicia Root, who had worked in the industry in both publishing and PR for several years, joined as Content Developer.
In November 2023, Jump expanded its reach and secured a contract with Springtail Productions for the publicity of Six Inches of Soil, an independent documentary feature film about soil, agroecology and regenerative farming, which will premiere in January 2024.
