Total Sports Trading B.V. continues its international growth under the name of Sportshop.com. The originally Dutch online sports retailer Total Sports will continue from Juli the 1st, 2017 using the name Sportshop.com. This change of name fits its ambition within The Netherlands, but also internationally, to grow. Total Sports is known for its webshops such as handballshop.com, handbalshop.nl, hardloopshop.nl, fitnessshop.nl and hockeyshop.nl. "Since the beginning in 2002 our goal was to be different and innovative in this market." according to the CFO Mark van Gijzel. "It appears that we did this with success since we won the Shopping Awards 2017 in the category sports with hardloopshop.nl" "With being different comes the need to have your own identity. To shape our identity even further we chose to continue with a strong overall "brand". Total Sports will be replaced with the name Sportshop.com and its figurative trademark." Within The Netherlands we will continue with our unique domain names. Sportshop.com will be visual in different online shops as a recognizable brand. Internationally Sportshop.com will be an online sports warehouse, with the same core values. A large assortment with attention for every sport while we want to improve customer satisfaction daily. To overcome this challenge and to grow in an efficient way the next couple of years, we are now the proud owner of a new logistic distribution center in Waalwijk. Our new distribution center is located in Waalwijk at the Tielenstraat 13 and 3.500m2 with a possibility to grow 1.500m2. With 3 floors it offers space for over 120.000 products which can be delivered right out of stock. With the change of name and the new distribution center Sportshop.com is ready to grow even more in the near future.
