Martin City is special taxing district in south Kansas City, Missouri. The Martin City Community Improvement District (MCCID) was formed in 2005 by 75+ Martin City business leaders to help fund services and infrastructure improvements in the neighborhood. We generate revenue from an annual property tax assessment on each parcel located within the CID boundaries and a 1/2 cent sales tax on purchases from CID retail stores. Martin City businesses generate approximately $50M+ in sales tax revenue annually for the city of Kansas City, Missouri.
