HalioGEN Power is a spinout from the University of Manchester Electrochemistry Group. The company focuses on the development of a long duration (>10 hours) redox flow battery which uses cheap and abundant materials. HalioGEN Power batteries use a novel membraneless cell design and electrode configurations to achieve long lifetime, long duration and high energy density. Our batteries are scalable from small commercial systems all the way to grid level deployments.
