One World (R)evolution is a female fronted metalcore band based out of Austin, Texas, United States. One World (R)evolution began in the fall of 2009. Founder Astrum Lux Lucis, who previously went by "Cheryl Hill" (her birth name), had been a singer/songwriter solo artist since 1993. After changing her name, she needed to reinvent her brand and so One World (R)evolution was born. The band's 1st release was a compilation of "Cheryl Hill" songs titled, "Transitions". In 2015 the band released an original Christmas song, "It's Christmas Time". The sophomore album, "Love Is The Answer" was released in 2017. In early 2020, Astrum teamed up with producer/guitar player Alex Campbell to take the band in a heavier direction. They began writing and recording a progressive metal concept album titled, "The Awakening" (yet to be released). Two songs from the album have been released exclusively on the band's YouTube Channel as lyric videos: "I NeeD Out" and "Save Me". The duo released a cover of "Little Drummer Boy" in 2021. In November of 2022 Astrum began a collaboration with prominent ghost writer and sound designer Dusty Boles to write and record 22 songs as part of a development deal. This collaboration takes the band in a more commercial metalcore direction, which Astrum is extremely excited about. The first single from this collaboration will be released in the spring of 2023.
