Nature is under threat. The continued loss of biodiversity represents a major risk to economic growth and sustainable livelihoods. Yet this also represents an opportunity for business innovation and change. Now is the time to bring UK businesses together to focus on the urgent need to conserve nature and seek new business opportunities. Our mission is to take action to mainstream biodiversity into the core of UK business decision making and activities. The UKBBF is a new business to business hub to support companies both understand the value of biodiversity and support companies integrate nature into their value chain and decision making. The Forum will: - Support UK businesses to identify opportunities and implement practical solutions and managing biodiversity impacts and risks in their supply chain. - Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experiences across all sectors, from SMEs to large corporates, to help raise awareness and improve performance. - Act as a unified voice for UK businesses on the importance of nature – including UK and international biodiversity policies. The Forum is open to all UK-based companies (including UK-based companies with significant operations overseas, and non-UK-based companies with a significant UK presence) and industry associations.
