Bytes for All (B4A), Pakistan is a network of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professionals and practitioners.
B4A works on the relevance of ICTs and implementation of ICT solutions for the sustainable development and strengthening human rights movements in the country.
At the forefront of Internet Rights movement and struggle for the democracy, B4A has been actively working in the field since 2003, focusing on field projects and policy advocacy from civil liberties perspective, as well as on capacity building of human rights defenders on their digital security, online safety and privacy.
Working on various important campaigns particularly against Internet censorship and surveillance in Pakistan, B4A continues to work on cyberspace issues, awareness raising and policy advocacy.
B4A’s field projects currently revolve around freedom of expression, strategic use of ICTs for women’s empowerment & combating violence against women, privacy rights, open e-governance and Internet freedom.
