Colorado Kids Belong is part of the America’s Kids Belong family, a nonprofit committed to dramatically improving the experiences and outcomes of kids in foster care. In Colorado there are over 4,000 kids in foster care. Currently, there are not enough families to care for these kids and not enough community support to sustain those families. We Recruit families from various backgrounds by engaging in the community and through our I Belong Project to help connect kids in foster care who are legally free for adoption find forever families. We Engage communities through our Foster Friendly™ App that connects foster families with essential support from their communities. And we create Coalitions for Change across government, child welfare, and business, civic and faith leaders, to drive sustainable change in foster care. A family for every child.
