“It is the mission of the Humanitarian Service Project to alleviate the pain and suffering that poverty brings to seniors and children in DuPage and Kane Counties, Illinois, without discrimination or exclusion for any reason.” . HSP supports four different programs in order to address the needs of the poverty stricken families, children and seniors living in the local community. Programs supporting children and family include: the Children’s Project, and the School Supply Drive. The Senior Citizen Project provides support to needy seniors and finally, the Christmas Offering provides support to both children and seniors. .
