"It’s only after you’ve stepped outside your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow, and transform.”
Today, we have decided to step out of our comfort zone.
We built InnerVoice as a community for people to share their emotions and have meaningful conversations around them. What started as a side project at WittyFeed, has become one of the largest communities for poets, comedians and storytellers across India. Overtime, we built properties such as Unheard and Bhasad to give a platform to new and upcoming artists to showcase their talent.
This journey over the last 3 years has helped us in connecting with thousands of artists and millions of people, 6 million of them. In the process, we understood standup as an art form at a deeper level. InnerVoice also helped us to understand the artists, the consumers and the problems that exist on both sides.
The love we received from people on InnerVoice helped us understand the power of standup content and how it can influence people at scale. The beauty of this type of content is that everyone gets it. It is simple, massy and yet sensible. The depth of standup art form is such that it exists in all geographies, languages and even local dialects.
Now the question became - how do we take standup art form and these artists to build something that can provide meaningful entertainment for the mass audience?
Today, we are building that STAGE which allows the artists to create local standup content for the local audience in their local context and dialects, a STAGE that allows the artists to distribute and monetize their content, a STAGE that allows the audience to discover highly curated local standup content that connects with them, a STAGE that connects Bharat, with Bharat.
Today, InnerVoice transforms into STAGE - the Indian language content platform (OTT) for artist led entertainment such as poetry, comedy and storytelling etc.
STAGE - kyuki boli me apnapan hai.
