Legislative power in Distrito Federal is exercised by the legislative chamber, which is made up of twenty-four District Deputies, elected every four years for a term of the same duration. Among the attributions of CLDF, it is worth mentioning that of dealing with all matters within the competence of the federal district and of supervising and controlling the acts of the District Executive Power, including those of indirect administration.
