In our everyday lives, we have all been guilty of over buying or preparing too much food, only to have it end up in our bins. Eating out and shopping we’d witness similar wastage in prepared dishes and ingredients, goods for sale, and items stocked on shelves or display. Whilst much of this waste has been driven by historic customer demand and the ability for businesses to absorb considerable wastage within their margins, this approach is no longer sustainable, nor acceptable. We believe there is a real problem to be solved and to make an impactful difference for us, for our children, for our planet.
